DWe decided to try hungry root bc our lives are busy. Our first order showed up warm, and packaging damaged.
Everything had to be thrown out. They credited us instead of refunding so we tried again. Second order arrived, we were home when driver showed up.
AGAIN, everything was warm, packages leaked. You cannot actually talk to anyone or be refunded!

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology. I canceled my entire subscription.
The package did finally show up; everything that was in the package needed to be refrigerated.
It wasn’t fit to be fed to in New York subway rodent. Some of the material and that’s a stretch had turned into liquid and it was supposed to be edible meat.
Zero customer service was supposed to be delivered on Saturday it's perishable food that need to be refrigerated still isn't here can't find anybody to talk to on the phone
User's recommendation: Don't waste your time stay away.
Box left on front porch, in Tucson, is 105 degrees.
Box and contents quite hot. However, best black bean burgers I have ever eaten.
The food was fine, needed to be prepared right away, but I wont order again.
Late delivery
I love the quality of food. I have only had 1 late delivery but it was 2 days late and I was going to be away on the that day and there was no one to talk to in person so food was going to sit for 2 days and go bad.
Issue with order
I have been trying to reach somebody all day. I have tried calling customer service.
I have left text messages. I have sent emails and I still have not reached anyone.
I skipped my orders for several weeks and today a box showed up that I do not want I want to speak to somebody or receive a message. Something would be helpful Lisa Jones 203-671-****.

This is the second week in a row. My delivery has not arrived, and Im leaving on vacation in the morning. I need somebody to follow up with the carrier and confirm delivery tonight and call me please.

I called the number and a recording state to call another number between certain hours. I'm on the East Coast, and the time I called was around 4:00 p.m.

Looking at website, I never completed, approved, or accepted food choices. Was browsing site only.
I was charged 218.90 for food that I didn't order. I would like full refund and any memberships canceled.

Cancel order
I tried for three days to use your texting system and no matter what I did it would not let me submit the request. It was extremely stressful and then I tried calling and theres no way to get a hold of you guys via phone.
Also, your email is not readily available so I was unable to cancel the order I got charged for the order and I just canceled my subscription because I just cant do this every couple of weeks. Its too stressful.

My entire box was a disaster. One of the gel packs busted and was on everything. All the pantry items and cold items were together.
Not one single person has emailed me or called to try and resolve this issue. This was my first and last box.

Worst customer service on the planet. Not sure why you need 100 symbols for a very simple answer to the problem with Hungry Root.
They are terrible at customer service. You can never call anybody, like the virtue about 10 ways a lousy company.

Charged for food never ordered. Looking at website, never completed process and should not have been charged I do not want any memberships, food, or charges posted to my account.

Epic Fail
There was a problem with this server that cause bogus email to be sent to clients. Steps were taken by clients to rectify the situation and then we found out that we didn't have to. My thing was I just wanted to go back to my original payment method never heard a word from Hungry rude about how to do that.

I have a hungryroot charge on my visa bill which is unidentifiable. I needed to speak to someone at hungryroot who could explain the charge and amount.
Got nothing.
No response addressing my question. Now I need to begin a dispute at visa.

I wanted to discuss options and get general info through a phone call. Hungryroot wanted my credit card info.
No way. And this was without human interaction.
