My daughter's shipment that was due on 3/3/26 was not received and we have no information on a new shipment, all we received was the order was damaged and a new shipment date of 3/5/26, however that shipment was not received either. We need information immediately my daughter has a medical condition and that is why we chose hungryroot. If we need to go elsewhere, we will but we need some kind of restitution for the order I have been charged for and the food never received.

Help, this is my first order from you. You guarantee fast delivery and fresh food. Food has to be at different temperatures (food safety guidelines). I paid $105.46 - I want my money back and another shipment sent to me free... do not use Dupont.
USDA: Perishable items such as fresh meat, poultry, fish, and dairy should be kept at or below 41°F (5°C) to minimize bacterial growth. For optimal safety and quality, refrigerators should be maintained at 40°F (4°C) or below, with some guidelines recommending a temperature between 34°F and 38°F for dairy products and 33°F to 36°F for meats. Fresh eggs should be stored at 45°F (7°C) or lower, and fresh vegetables and ripe fruits at 35°F to 40°F.
My food is supposed to come to me today 1/10/2026 between 11 AM and 3 PM. FedEx Dupont (is horrible). I am on the phone with Marsal - Dupont FedEx - 10:56 AM - 253-912-****. Marshall stated that 'there is no one there to bring the package to me' and 'the package was never scanned.' I have been on the phone with them for over an hour (see photo), so that means the expensive food I bought from you will go bad before I even get it. The food is great and I really love the program. I will not be continuing because you can't get a human being on the phone and the guy over text did not even know what I was talking about and was no help. I like human beings and it's just too hard to communicate with these people.
Need to cancel my subscription
All my accounts were hacked. I have NO access to anything. I need this account deleted ASAP until I can get my accounts back.

The box was torn open. Ice was melted, food was warm.
Lettuce wilted in the cucumber, totally damaged, and some of the cold products were warm. I had also requested that I wanted organic ingredients, and some of them weren't!

There is no way for someone with a visual disability to contact customer service with a phone call. The only option they have is chat or email.
There is also no way to figure out what your charge will be until it shows up on your bank account. Your assessed points, but there’s no way to find upcoming charges.
I have had a couple of different problems, and the only way to contact them is through a chatbot or to send a text, at which point they email you asking for your email and will only talk to you by chat that goes to your email. However, there is no way to get a phone number to actually call anybody. When I did find a phone number to call, it just tells you to send a text and then disconnects.

I have tried reaching your customer service department but no one responds, it seems its non existent. I am trying to cancel my first order because I am not interested in the products offered nor the service.
I was charged BEFORE I was ever able to see what the items available even were! I DONT WANT YOUR SERVICE AND I DEMAND MY $119.00 DOLLARS BACK AND THE ABILITY TO CANCEL THE SUBSCRIPTION IMMEDIATELY

Verified ReviewerDeception and hard to cancel
Hungryroot deceived me by asking how many people I wanted to feed and which meals I wanted them to provide each day. These questions made it seem like they would plan any and all of my meals, which is what I need because meal planning takes too much time.
They won't show you your plan until after you subscribe, so you move through the site believing they are going to really plan out your meals and send the groceries. This was not true at all. After I foolishly signed up and paid, they showed me a meal plan for only dinners and snacks for one person. I had to dig around to find their Chatbot who informed me that they do not provide breakfast and lunch and they don't provide for big families.
I would need to order hundreds of dollars of add-ons to actually feed my family. The 'cancel anytime' is a lie. I had to dig around for instructions because there's no easy way to cancel. Finally, I learned I needed to text their customer care in order to move or cancel my first order or subscription.
I have two days to cancel before my first delivery is 'locked' and unstoppable. The text I got back from them said they'll get back to me in 72 hours.
So, I can't cancel my first order, can't cancel my subscription, and even their Chatbot said they don't offer refunds. Total scam.
