- - Contact options are limited to chatbot or text, with messages routed to email.
- - No phone number to call; the line directs you to text.
There is no way for someone with a visual disability to contact customer service with a phone call. The only option they have is chat or email.
There is also no way to figure out what your charge will be until it shows up on your bank account. Your assessed points, but there’s no way to find upcoming charges.
I have had a couple of different problems, and the only way to contact them is through a chatbot or to send a text, at which point they email you asking for your email and will only talk to you by chat that goes to your email. However, there is no way to get a phone number to actually call anybody. When I did find a phone number to call, it just tells you to send a text and then disconnects.

I have tried reaching your customer service department but no one responds, it seems its non existent. I am trying to cancel my first order because I am not interested in the products offered nor the service.
I was charged BEFORE I was ever able to see what the items available even were! I DONT WANT YOUR SERVICE AND I DEMAND MY $119.00 DOLLARS BACK AND THE ABILITY TO CANCEL THE SUBSCRIPTION IMMEDIATELY

Hungryroot deceived me by asking how many people I wanted to feed and which meals I wanted them to provide each day. These questions made it seem like they would plan any and all of my meals, which is what I need because meal planning takes too much time.
They won't show you your plan until after you subscribe, so you move through the site believing they are going to really plan out your meals and send the groceries. This was not true at all. After I foolishly signed up and paid, they showed me a meal plan for only dinners and snacks for one person. I had to dig around to find their Chatbot who informed me that they do not provide breakfast and lunch and they don't provide for big families.
I would need to order hundreds of dollars of add-ons to actually feed my family. The 'cancel anytime' is a lie. I had to dig around for instructions because there's no easy way to cancel. Finally, I learned I needed to text their customer care in order to move or cancel my first order or subscription.
I have two days to cancel before my first delivery is 'locked' and unstoppable. The text I got back from them said they'll get back to me in 72 hours.
So, I can't cancel my first order, can't cancel my subscription, and even their Chatbot said they don't offer refunds. Total scam.

Didn’t get I anticipated in my first delivery
My first order was absolutely Nothing I thought it would be. l need assistance setting parameters and choosing the right meals. Need help with my next order or Ill cancel and move on.

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with full refund. I finally was contacted and offered a full refund. Just be vigilant.
My food was delayed getting here. When it got here, the ice had melted, and the food was not cold.
I contacted you, but I can't call customer service and talk to a real person, which is a problem. The computer said to throw the food away, which is—oh duh, I know that. I have yet to be able to get a hold of a real person.
I kind of expected to be sent another package so I could try it; first time ordering it, but nothing has been offered to me. Very disappointed so far in your customer service!

Perishable food delayed four days keeps telling me it's gonna be here. It never shows up.
Charge my account, have not refunded the money. Stay away from these people.

I updated my (second) order days before the deadline and instead they sent me what they thought I should get and it was a bunch of junk that looks disgusting and I won't eat it. It's impossible to contact a human to sort it out. Their customer service is non-existent and all the things they send you, you could just get at the grocery store (order delivery or curbside if you don't want to go into store).

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with full refund. Just talked to them and they fixed it all.
I had to close my account because I had moved, and I told them both emails that were used for this. They sent me an email stating I was closed, then I got a delivery unexpectedly.
At the house I'm not at, my address was 220 Willowood Ln., Bullhead City, AZ 86442.
Please do not send anything else. I am sending your food back to you.

How do I order your vegetables? How do I get on your list? You're making it impossible to reach somebody.

I absolutely cannot risk wheat or gluten in my food. I just signed up for meals and noticed pita bread and baguette included. Are these items truly gluten-free?

My account is tied to an email that is no longer valid/working. That means I cannot log into my account to cancel.
I have not wanted my past 3 boxes and I just got charged again yesterday. I need someone to cancel and refund IMMEDIATELY.

Didn’t get customer service
Be sure you know where to contact this company as they do not have a live person available to solve your problem. The cancellation selection is not obvious and challenging to find.
I was sent two deliveries, food not of my choosing, and charged for the food. I finally found the correct cancellation site but said it would take two weeks to process. In the meantime I have no control of the deliveries.
I do not recommend using Hungryroot!!! BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Hungryroot has great food, but that’s it! The company makes the impossible for you to cancel.
I have been trying forever and they keep sending boxes. Customer service is lousy. I find once you sign up you are caught. They are also highly inadequate in keeping the food cold.
the box is always leaking and the food is always warm necessitating discarding of food. It is so cheaply done.Run don’t walk!
I had canceled and I got just got a notice a box coming whats going on? Please get a hold of them and cancel the box.
